Not certified, but quite possibly, a rare Art Deco period Borzoi dog statue created by "The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Co ." of Bridgeport Connecticut c.1920's. Jennings Brothers were an early 20th century maker of detailed cast figures of dogs and various animals, desk accessories and various decorative objects.
The dramatic large breed has a narrow head, slender body on long legs and feathery full tail. The statue is constructed of cast metal with an aged bronze patina. The finish is embellished with realistic detailed features and amazing accuracy.
