The Countess line, #6248 called the Shell Bon Bon Bowl were originally made as small serving bowls. The bowl is silverplate made by International Silver Company circa 1960's. Today, this Rococo Revival clam shell bowl would be beautiful as a trinket tray on a vanity for small items.
The clam shell trinket tray is stamped Countess 6248. It has an ornamental edge and a semi deep well, with heavy patina throughout. Polishing will be left to the purchaser.
